Galaxy DDO185 by Harry Fellows

Astrophysicist Adam Riess once spoke of a dark energy that lived in the empty space between galaxies. A re-imagination of his words may have been the inspiration for photographer Harry Fellow’s “Galaxy DDO185.” Glimmers of cosmic energy sparkle over the darkness of black-lit skin, creating images that look as much like products of the Hubble Telescope as a Nikon D800E. It seems that Fellows has embraced the old adage: we are all of us stars, and we deserve to twinkle.
