Premiere: Fall for Young Summer on
‘You Would Have Loved It Here’

Fall might be in full swing, but the sun is always shining on Young Summer. On her new EP You Would Have Loved It Here, the Washington, DC-based artist brings us crystalline, pool-blue pop perfect for that nostalgic phase that comes with the changing of the seasons. Underneath her strikingly wistful vocals, there’s something grounded to her delivery that underscores her songs’ emotive lyrics and the trail of broken hearts they leave behind. The single “Paused Parade” was co-written by UK singer and songwriter Aqualung, while previously unheard track “Heart In Slo Mo” features shimmering, swooning production that falls somewhere between Tanlines and Yumi Zouma.
