by: Diego Martínez
June 29, 2012
Who: Gonzalo Guerechit Ratti
What: Professional photographer. His images have been used for advertising in his native Argentina and for international publications such as BUTT.
Where: Buenos Aires, Argentina
What’s on his mind today:
Pictures. I’m going to take some pictures.
What he is currently working on:
Finishing a photo shoot for a local radio station, and thinking of a new one for another client. Also, doing some work for the publicity agency I work for.
What he thinks there is too much of, and too little of:
There are too many lonely people all over the planet. And there is almost no respect.
With whom he would like most to go on a “ tête à tête”:
Laurie Anderson. The Great Laurie Anderson.
What does good energy mean to him:
What is his most striking moment:
When I fully realized that life is only one.
What’s his earliest memory:
What is memory? Is it a new something?
What cracks him up:
To see refrigerators full of never-eaten rancid food.
What kind of movement he would like to start:
Some movement in which we are transparent. Or maybe I don’t want to start a new movement, we have a lot of things already.
Who represents his “artistic” family:
Laurie Anderson, Björk, Cocorosie, Pet Shop Boys, Jean Michel Jarré, Abba, Ella Fitzgerald, Vangelis, Yma Sumac, Richard Avedon, Henri Cartier-Bresson and many other photographers.
Whom he would you like to grow old with:
With my family and friends. And Heller, my dog.
What would he like to leave to future generations:
What is his WILD Wish:
To see happy and loyal people much more often.
