wild profile chad mcphail

He’s currently working on:
Commercial and residential design projects in L.A. and N.Y.

What he thinks there is too much of, and too little of:
I think there is too much cheap, ugly furniture in the world.  And too little humility.

With whom he would like to run a country:
I’ll leave that to the experts. Go Hillary 2016.

His earliest memory:
The tile pattern on the floor of my parent’s kitchen when I was two. Designer from an early age, I guess.

What he considers a fashion faux-pas:
Trying too hard to be “unique,” even when the result is really unflattering.

Who represents his artistic family:
I’m inspired by so much out there, especially from the past.  On a personal level, my friends in music, art, design, and even social work are always pushing what they do and that inspires me to do the same focus on the art in my work… which isn’t always easy to do when you are dealing with budgets, deadlines, and clients.

Chad’s WILD Wish:
To keep growing artistically and emotionally.  It’s a satisfying battle that never ends.
