Versace Fall 2012

Versace Fall 2012

Maybe Donatella didn’t get the memo that showing in July is for fall as Versace’s twenty seven looks consist of one frothy, feminine, overtly sensual look after another. From the soft color palette reminiscent of summer-on-the-boardwalk sorbet, to the delicate chiffons, abundance of cutouts, and high hemlines, this collection screams “take me to an island paradise.” With tarot-card-print silk laminated with PVC, beaded evening dresses, strands of crystals, and daringly high slits, Donatella’s stunning couture collection epitomizes classic Versace: strong, sexy, and fearless.
