The Power of Lov

The Child of Lov Heal WILD mag music

Multi-talented solo artist, The Child of Lov has just dropped the video for his debut single “Heal,” which is a funky little number that effectively displays the breadth of his musical talent.

So far, the twenty-something musician has managed to keep his identity under wraps, which not only gives him a kind of mystical allure, but also allows his music to take centre stage. Describing his track “Rotisserie” on his Soundcloud as “Intergalactic R&B,” gives an indication of how his creative output isn’t limited to mere earthly genres. “Heal” errs more towards the funk end of the musical spectrum and the Focus Creeps-directed video shows how The Child of Lov is willing to experiment visually, as well as musically.

With a debut album that features Thundercat, Damon Albarn and DOOM, The Child of Lov is definitely a guy who surrounds himself with good company and is well worth listening out for from here on in. “Heal” is available to download now.
