“Superpunk,” the aptly named Spring/Summer 2013 collection of Belle Sauvage, designed by Virginia Ferreira and Christian Neuman, features a plethora of hardware, sleek silhouettes, and loads of luxurious fabrics. Pointy, bustier-like tops, reminiscent of Madonna’s famous John Paul Gaultier showpieces, shiny patent elements, and hyper-detailed digital prints make up this striking, biker-babe, S & M inspired collection.
Leopard, the more wearable diffusion line, features skull artwork, safety-pins, and metallic details. And, in addition to this femme fatale collection of chained and zippered garments, digitally printed denim is now available.
In a shockingly creative, out-of-the-box move, Mercedes-Benz tapped Belle Sauvage to design their new model A-Class. With the juxtaposition of a basic black leather interior, Ferreira and Neuman utilized high definition imagery in combination with digitally painted details to outfit the exterior in a seamless marriage of British Punk and Gothic Romanticism. Rock on, Mercedes.
