The exhibit Manolo Blahnik, 40 Years of Glamour opened during Paris Fashion Week at the Printemps department store with a soirée co-hosted by exhibit curator and the store’s fashion editor, Maria Luisa. Guests included shoe designers Pierre Hardy and Nicholas Kirkwood, collector Didier Ludot and designer Martine Sitbon. The event also celebrated the upcoming opening of a Manolo Blahnik shop within Printemps.

40 Years, which ends this weekend, takes us through Blahnik’s magical journey. We stared at each shoe in the African-themed section for an especially long time, as Blahnik told us that it was his favorite part of the exhibit.
