Premiere: Cast Off Your ‘Demons’
with Slow Riot’s New Video

As the days get chillier, it’s time to slide back into some gloomier tunes. On their new single “Demons,” Irish trio Slow Riot fit the bill, armed with the swelling guitars and low, direct vocals that bring to mind fellow post-punk revivalists like Editors and Interpol. The video, premiered here, portrays desolation by daylight as the Limerick band performs in an abandoned building. 90s computer monitors show another layer of obsolescence, showing that usefulness can decline in a decade as much as it can in a century. With their classically-inspired sound, Slow Riot are set to stick around for a while. “Demons” appears on the upcoming Cathedrals EP, out next month on Straight Lines Are Fine. Watch the clip below and follow the band on Facebook and Twitter for more.
