Pidgin Doll Poses as Brooke Candy For Halloween

unnamed

On Halloween, it’s that one time a year where it is socially acceptable to channel your inner spirit animal, or secret persona, out in public.
New York City Pidgin Doll artist Joshua David McKenney tapped into the season’s festive spirit and dressed up one of his sweet figurines as provocative American rapper Brooke Candy.

Photographed by Stacy Leigh, whom is famously known for shooting love dolls like human objects, captured the dolled up Pidgin in a hyper-sexual manner, exuding the darkness of Brooke Candy’s hip-hop-meets-Tumblr image.

Creative Director Love Bailey introduced Brooke Candy to McKenney, and along with costume designer Matthew Camp, made sure that the doll truly captures the distinctive essence and personality of the eccentric Brooke, right down to her long tomato-red nails and piercings. McKenney even photographed Candy’s tattoos to ensure that their placement on the doll would be totally accurate.
