Never Going Backwards:
Northside Festival Music 2015 in Photos

The Northside Festival has quickly become a hallmark of summer in Brooklyn, marking the beginning of lazy days in McCarren Park and nights traveling across Williamsburg and Bushwick in search of fun. While the festival also includes events dedicated to film and innovation, the music portion takes up most of the week, this year bagging headliners including Run The Jewels, Neko Case, and Best Coast. As always, Northside highlighted the best of what’s next, from Nashville breakout band Bully to a rare appearance by synth-punk quartet Health, whose upcoming release Death Magic will be their first proper album since 2009. Locally-based talent including Le1f, Mitski, and Heems also had a strong showing at the festival. Check out a photo gallery recap of the weekend and listen to an accompanying playlist below.
