Lemoine’s Lolita

Uber talented music video director, musician, and WILD Magazine favorite, Yoann Lemoine teamed up with actress Elle Fanning for the new fragrance Lolita Lempicka. The result was a three-minute masterpiece featuring the gorgeous Fanning running through the woods to a background score from Woodkid (Lemoine’s stage name). Directing a gorgeous video AND composing the background score? Talk about a wiz kid! Not that we would expect any less from the multi-faceted Lemoine.

The video follows Fanning as she dances through a forest. She positions two branches up to her head like antlers, and then nuzzles up to an actual deer. The whole thing screams forest pixie with an edge.  

Lolita Lempicka, the pseudonym of French fashion designer Josiane Maryse Pividal, embodies the polarizing tension between innocence and sex appeal.  This stark contrast of girlie impishness (she did take her first name from Vladimir Nabokov’s novel after all) and understated sensuality makes Fanning  the perfect fit for the playful seduction the brand was going for.
