Erickson Beamon Spring 2013
September 10, 2012
Ageless opulence and decoration were the key elements at Erickson Beamon’s Spring 2013 presentation. The sparkle-heavy collection was shown on models of varying ages, each showcasing the jewels in their own unique way. From elegant older ladies sporting white locks and strings of pearls to five year-olds playfully showing off over-sized diamonds, Karen Erickson and Vicki Beamon’s collection was full of wearable pieces. Known for their decadent, colorful jewels the designers often take risks, but this season they played safe. Extra large pyramid cuffs covered in Swarovski crystals caught the eye, as did oversize gold earrings that were reminiscent of scaffolding, but colors were limited to black, pale pink and clear this season. A standout mirror necklace was a favorite, featuring shards of glass in a tribal-like pattern, but otherwise, expect more of the same beautiful pieces that Erickson Beamon is known for.
