Eckhaus Latta Spring/Summer 2013

by: Jennifer Eve Eisner

Young designers Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta have once again crafted a quirky, visually unique (if not generally unwearable) collection for Spring/Summer 2013. Stand out features include: the ubiquitous “wet look” fabrics, high-waisted closures and belt-like design details reminiscent of a WWE World Championship Heavyweight Belt, and daring, varied knit applications. Seemingly haphazard cords, endless fringe, and surprising fabric choices abound in this palette of soft peach, dark taupe, and light earth tones.
