Channeling a space between Michael Jackson signature steps and Thom Yorke interpretive dances, Héloïse Letissier as Christine and the Queens makes moves in her video “Saint Claude.”  Classically trained in dance, la chanteuse française began making music after spending time amidst London’s drag scene. Letissier told the Guardian that she’s set out to challenge traditional gender norms in pop music. “I feel like a man in the morning but a girl in the evening. When I fall in love it is with a personality, not a gender,” she said. Check out the video, then stream her debut album Chaleur Humaine below.
