Were you allowed to dress yourself as a kid?
Yes. I was! My mom used to sew my clothes though, so I wore a lot of what she made for me. I remember we used to travel once a year to this kids’ fashion store located in the main city to get our clothes for the whole year. I got to choose whatever I wanted (within a budget, of course). What a fun trip!
If you could only wear one piece of clothing everyday for the rest of your life, what would it be?
My Levi cutoffs. I don’t think I can live without them.
What is your dream piece of clothing to own?
I’m not sure if I dream of a specific item, but I’d be the happiest if I had the Bambi sweatshirt from Givenchy or one of those space sweatshirts from Balenciaga. I’m really into sweatshirts as you can see. Also, I’m currently dreaming a lot about the Nike Air Max 90.
What inspires your personal style?
Mostly music, but I’m influenced by lots—could be some girl/old lady/kid on the street, the latest Alexa Chung book, a character from a movie, a TV show. But I’m devoted to music, so there you go.
What do you consider to be a fashion faux pas?
Too tight clothes. Some girls think they look skinnier/hotter if they wear everything too tight, but to me it looks cheap. Long pointy nails! I know that they look hot in editorials, maybe a singer can pull it off, but to me they’re a major fashion faux pas. The whole Jersey Shore ensemble too.
If you could see change in one aspect of the fashion industry, what would it be?
Less pretension and less monopoly.
What is your favorite drink?
Margaritas! And Nestea.
Who is your style icon?
Anyone from the 90s.
What is your WILD Wish?
To leave it all behind and travel to some paradisiacal place with a secret lover. Or to stand outside the tents at MBFW and have my picture taken by street style photographers. Every fashion blogger’s wish, right?
