He’s currently working on:
There’s always about 5 or 6 projects in the queue for post production at my desk. This week I did holiday campaigns for my favorite Spa in the world, AIRE. A few days before, I shot a campaign with A-Trak for Grand Marnier cognac — Coming out in Feb. I’m going to be working a lot with the creative team Scheme Engine over at Jay-Z’s record label, Roc Nation over the next year.

In a few weeks I’m shooting the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show again for VS. The show this year is going to be in London, and nothing short of amazing! Working on some creative for Ralph Lauren to begin shooting early next year. Separately, there’s some collaborations coming up with Mike Tommasiello (alias: @NYDoorman) and Grungy Gentleman.

I’m also really excited about the 6 or so editorials coming out that I have shot all over the world the past couple of months. They are fashion and travel/beach stories ranging in locations from LA to Paris to Bondi. And just as I’m recovering from fashion month and it’s going to be here again before we know it.

What he thinks there is too much of, and too little of:
I operate my life on extremes, and I’m not really a complainer. It’s kind of an excess in moderation, if you will. If I like something, I’m probably going to want a lot of it. This is true in work and my personal life. I’ll travel excessively for 3-6 months and then spend 3 days to a week laying in bed recovering, ordering (and reordering) chinese food on Seamless. So, everything has it’s own way of balancing out in the end!

His most striking moment:
The time an Olympic Gold Medalist punched me in the face… Let’s get something straight though. I totally asked for it. Like, literally asked him to hit me in the face. He’s my buddy and I was trying to stay awake, but fading fast… Once he threw the punch, I was very angry and didn’t understand why he’d do such a thing, and he felt very badly. But, then I realized an Olympic Gold Medalist had just punched me in the face and I thought that was really something.

The time my friend and I crashed a party where we knew no one, pulled the plug on some gangster rap music and blasted Taylor Swift… it was a huge success.

What he considers a fashion faux-pas:
Being basic. I’m basic though.

What cracks him up:
I love stand up comedy. My sister and I love going to the UCB Theater. I have some friends in comedy and just seeing them sitting around and making fun of each other is awesome. I’m not funny by any means, but I appreciate funny people and the character it takes to have a sense of humor in every day situations.

He can’t live without:
French Toast and Scrambled Eggs.

He’s obsessed with:
Waking up in different time and zones surfing different beaches. So far my favorites are some islands of the coast of Venezuela and Bondi. My friends tell me Bali is the move. Never hit the west coast, although I’m out there all the time for work. I should work on that.

His next challenge:
I haven’t mastered the art of sleeping in airplanes yet. Or sleeping in general. I’m usually crushing through movies and editing photos. Not to mention way too excited about what’s next to fall asleep. I’m also endlessly afraid I’ll miss something while I’m sleeping.

His WILD Wish:
I have this Calvin Klein AD Campaign idea that I want to direct and make happen very badly. I have so many creative ideas for a short film or 30 second spot. I guess the wish would be to pitch the idea to his creative team and direct it.
