Aneta Ivanova Exposes The World In Her Portrait
By the age of 22 years old, Bulgarian photographer Aneta Ivanova has grown from at-home, experimental self-portrait photographer to a fine arts, fashion photographer. Her double exposures combine portraiture with landscapes to redefine the silhouette. Even in black and white, these photos are bursting with energy.
Her process begins with shooting landscapes during her travels, then shooting portraits that will complement the photo it is made to be filled with. Her subjects are often herself and her sister, so she describes the process as more of a “mind-reading” than instruction giving. Ivanova claims that her technique remains constant for every double-exposure that she creates; she even offers a tutorial to her fans, here.
Aneta’s WILD Wish: To just leave everything and travel the world.
