Analogue Monsta / Conversion Theory

Analogue Monsta Wild Mag music video of the week

Suzi Analogue + Tokimonsta = Analogue Monsta. These two awesome individuals have joined forces to create a soulful side project that is a real breath of fresh air. There’s a lot of moody R&B out now that is absolutely brilliant, but a little upbeat soul with a positive message is always welcome, and that’s exactly what Analogue Monsta are bringing.

The new video for “Conversion Theory,” from their BOOM album, manages to be simplistic and meteoric at the same time. It pulses along with Tokimonsta’s beat and Suzi’s glorious vocals that are on a par with some of the greats, such as Erykah Badu and Jill Scott. But don’t be mistaken: this isn’t a throwback attempt or parody; rather, a thoroughly contemporary slice of delicious soulful pie.
