A little less 50 shades

Pick your pleasure. Is it a mythical king and his throngs of virgins, a ménage à trois or perhaps something more contemporary, like dating apps? Respectively, How to Train Your Virgin, We Love Lucy and God, I Don’t Even Know Your Name make up the novella trinity of “New Lovers”— the latest erotica fiction series by publisher Badlands Unlimited. First-time erotica authors Wednesday Black, Andrea McGinty and Lilith Wes explore relationships, intimacy and sex, as well as their implications in the current zeitgeist. Organic and uncensored, their stories make for a fresh, re-defining take on sexual desire for our times. Premiering at the Guggenheim tomorrow evening, the authors will perform a short reading, followed by a moderated symposium by the museum’s featuring artist, Hugo Boss Prize 2014 winner and Badland’s founder Paul Chan.
